Shield

Shields are a type of equipment that can be equipped in the left radial menu. Each shield is different possessing varying statistics.

Types[]

Several NPCs have been seen wielding shields, and may potentially drop them when slain.

Shields are used to deflect incoming attacks, negating some of the damage that would have been inflicted.

13 December 2018	Several shields are shown in the Hytale trailer.
27 November 2019	The iron shield is shown, however not named.
12 December 2019	The thorium shield is revealed.
30 April 2020	The cobalt shield as well as the iron shield's name is revealed.
30 June 2020	The wooden shield is shown.
