This page is about planned versions to Hytale. These updates either have major sources to their upcoming existence or have received development versions.
Beta[]
The open beta for Hytale used to be set to release by 2021.[1] However this evidently did not come to pass. The switch of focus to more outsider testing has been announced in the Winter 2023 blog post. However an official Beta date has as of yet not been announced. Beta will be the first development phase to be publicly available after over nine years of private development, and this update will add all of the features mentioned in prior blog posts, screenshots and gameplay videos, including zones, prefabs, alterverses, blocks, items, minigames, servers, and more.
