Ores are a type of hybrid block that can be found underground and mined to produce useful minerals.

Generation

Ores can be found scattered throughout the world. Ores are commonly found in caves and ravines where areas of the world are carved out creating easier access to ores and other useful blocks found underground.

Usage

When the ore is mined with a pickaxe, it will drop itself. The ore block must then be smelted into a mineral item which can then be used for crafting other blocks and items. A variety of tools, weapons and armor can be crafted from these smelted ores.
