Elements are natural forces in Hytale, which come in six forms. These natural forces are represented by runes and affect the magical aspects of the world.

Gaia[]
At least five of the known elements are connected to Gaia. In her concept art, Gaia is depicted with long black hair, braided in five ponytails with a colored pearl on each, representing five magic essences that compose life on Orbis – fire, water, lightning, wind, and earth.[1] There is another concept art which depicts a Gaian portal surrounded by runes of these five elements.[2]
Varyn[]
Varyn is powerful in the art of Void magic, who uses it to corrupt NPCs and bring them under its control, converting them into Varyn's Spawn.
